This film features Clark Griswold (Chase) taking his family on a vacation through Europe and the wacky adventures that ensue when Americans culture meets the Old World. It is a much funnier film than "EV: Hitler" and has a lot more hijinx. In summary, I would give EV: Chevy Chase version a Full On Double Rainbow, whereas EV: Hitler is more like one-half Rainbow. This Hitler film is okay, but it kind of pales in comparison to “European Vacation” from 1985 with Chevy Chase.
